Handel`s Homemade Ice Cream in Berwyn

The only place you should go for ice cream on the main line. If you haven’t been here, you sleepin on the best darn ice cream of ya life.

I got the Coconut Cream Pie (my favorite!!) and Cookies and Cream. I always love coming to Handel's. It is the best ice cream in the state in my opinion.

It's delicious ice cream and a wonderful activity. ~20min line time when totally packed. These folks are hustling behind the counters providing great service.

Always great quality ice cream and strict distancing protocols during Covid-19.You can also order limited flavors online to be picked up at the handicap window in the side of the building facing away from rt 30.

I had a craving for orange sherbet. I haven’t written a review in months. That orange sherbet was seriously the best I’ve had in my life and one of the best treats I’ve ever had. And I’m from Florida, so I’ve had a lot of orange flavored things! An absolute must. We will definitely return soon!!

Always delicious and worthy of a stop year round! While there’s often a line here, the final product is worth the wait. Ice cream is generously scooped and with over 35 flavors you’re bound to find something for everyone. If not a cup or cone, handle has other delicious offerings - hurricanes are like a better tasting DQ blizzard, milk shakes are hand blended, and handle pops are a sweet treat when looking for different options. Plenty of parking but especially popular in the evening and summer months.

Long line, but that is to be expected on a warm day. This was my 1st time at this location, visiting from out of state. I waited 40 minutes in line, was called to the side window and as my party was walking up someone ran up to the window and the associate took their order. I explained the situation and his retort was that we normally have a sign up that says that we have three lines but it's not up today. An intelligent person at this juncture would think ...maybe we are not operating 3 lines today. The window on the other side was closed. He proceeded to assist the line jumper. This is a complete failure of customer service, and common sense. To reward people behaving badly only encourages them to do so in the future. This will be my last visit here.

Nice ice creams, shakes and malts. COVID-19 distancing and masks protocols in place. The line does move slowly but the ice cream and the service are both very nice.
